On Sunday December 11, 2011 the American Legion Riders Chapter Presidents, from across Massachusetts, came together for a meeting in Sturbridge MA (Post 109) with the State Commander, John Lenotte. This was the first time that a State Commander has reached out to the Legion Riders leadership to help address challenges that face the riders from across the state. Representing Chapter 156 Waltham was Joe Bonanno (President) and Charlie Bonanno (Vice President). The meeting was deemed a success by all in attendance and it was agreed that future meetings would be set up.
